Programming

At one point in my life I thought I might want to be an event planner.  I get this love of all things social from my father who would host a neighborhood block party every weekend if my mother would let him.  I love bringing people together for fun or unusual activities.  I have happily translated this interest into program planning at the library.

I see programming as a way to display the many resources the library has to its patrons.

I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work on programming for all ages from 0 to 99. At the Fort Lee Public Library, while my staff run the majority of our programs for children and teens, I am able to direct our focus for specific populations and interests as well as run programs like book clubs for adults.

Check out the drop down menu above for some examples of programming I have worked on in the past.
